The “flat” door developed with the Tony performance in mind. Built to withstand the high paced high jinx of “I’ve Decided to Marry you”

A 3’x3’ Square base was fitted with a Pully on a set of mechanical casters so the unit could be placed in position from a track embedded into the stage on the stage.

The painting and build of this unit were paramount to our process as this was the director’s favorite piece and a centerpiece of his vision.

“Poison in My pocket”

A foray into cartoonish scenic painting for me. The direction decided on quick silly montage-style murder for this part. A semi-gloss white and flat blues were used to make a rolling hills at a ski resort.

Lighting Time!

With a limited time frame, I had to set a basic and effective lighting plot for our lighting designer to implement the design as effectively as possible. The lighting designer was hired with the expectation of Programming the board and simple modifications to the plot.

In house developed cyc

Two modified par-cans made for a simple follow spot. With limited uses in the show the heat was not an issue.
