He is now an MFA graduate from The University of Alabama with the ultimate goal of continuing to bolster and increase arts education across the United States, whether that be through teaching or direct community involvement.

Creating, Designing, and Educating.

Creation: I believe creation is first and foremost a collaborative process. I can create an object for fun but through a collaborative process, the product is elevated to a work of art. I hope by working with other artists and visionaries to learn more and improve on my personal love of theatrical arts. My main methods of creation are; Hand Drafting, 3-D resin printing, playwriting, storytelling, and theatrical carpentry. Currently seeking opportunities to expand my creative outlets and widen my skillsets of creation.

Design: The foundation of design begins in the selection of your audience. I can design until my heart is full but, unless the concept is received by my audience the design is a failure. So choosing a design that will amplify a message to my audience only matters if the message is important for my audience. Most of my design experience is in teaching design concepts and creative problem-solving. I often design methods of creation for various properties, scenery units, and most recently delving into the world of 3-D modeling design.

Education: Working in education has been an incredible and liberating experience for me. I firmly stand with arts education support. I have found through teaching technical theatre at multiple institutions students grow in so many other areas outside of theatre as a direct result of the ideas and concepts we teach in theatre. Using theatre as a method of teaching emotional, social, and physical health often allows students to discover hidden passions and areas of interest. I have used technical theatre as a means of assisting math and English classes to demonstrate difficult theories and concepts.
